Charleston
Charleston, South Carolina is a very historic town that is rich in culture and filled with southern hospitality South. Visit during spring Spoleto arts and music festival, or visit during the holidays for an alternative to warm the cold temperatures most of the rest the country is experiencing. See the many art galleries and shops along King Street, or head to the beaches to enjoy a day of fun sun. Visit the historic College of Charleston campus, or a tour of the campus of the Citadel. Shop around and see all the old homes and classic architecture Charlestonian churches and other public buildings. There is something for everyone if your RV finds its way into historic Charleston.
Lakes
It are many lakes in South Carolina that can be assessed from campsites. Do some research which lakes will cross your trip to South Carolina and see if there is a campground for your pleasure. Most lakes have a boat, camping and even jet ski rentals or if you choose to start your journey on the open waters. Pack your swimsuit and head to one of the many lakes in SC during your RV trip.
Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach has a ranges mentioned above, but also has quite the nightlife and plenty of golf courses. Visit this area to enjoy one of the many excellent public golf courses, bars and music venues, and five star restaurants. Many shops here feature local art, souvenirs, and other South Carolinian flair. Myrtle Beach is an experience not to be missed by all those interested in visiting the south at any time of year.

The beautiful beaches are a draw at any time of year, and holidays are an ideal time to head south and enjoy the culture of this precious jewel.
