Ok I really need help. just asked a question about what could be wrong with my 2003 grand pix?
everything on the car has be working fine, I went to my mothers house in ohio this weekend and on my way back tonight to Charleston wv the car started making noise in the front of the car like a gringing simi popping sound almost like something was going to break. I was 10 miles away from charleston so i kept driving when I went to get off the exit it was like the car didn’t want to stop. when i got home to park it i had to press the breaks all the way down. I have break fluild in it i check that. what could this be? i have to work in the morning and have no other way to work, so what would be the risk of driving it? please help I don’t know anything about cars. Thanks!
You need to get the brakes checked but it sounds like you wore out a front pad completely. If the rotor is badly scored you might need a new one the risk is further damage to the car or someone else.
