Relocation Info Charleston?

I'm transferring to Charleston and I know nothing about the place. I would appreciate any info you can give on where the best places to live are. I do NOTwant live in Mt Pleasant. Also, I will be renting an apartment when I get there, so any info on good complex If I moved to Charleston, I would find a place on the peninsula. It is so convenient to walk to class. It can be difficult to find an apartment for if you can to find a roommate. The Stern Center of messages that can help you find one. Ideally, you want to live in a house between input, Beaufain, Calhoun and Rutledge (nice area, short walk to class). If you want to find you own place, I would start with a number of companies property management. There are a ton of apartments that are managed in this way and it is much more reliable than the landlord odd that the drops in all weathers. Answer to stay south of Broad St. There will be fewer apartments in this area, but it is the most beautiful landscape of downtown and the college crowd is not particularly welcome There are a few tricks Housing on the Ashley River, it is at the corner of Broad and bar, the other is at 4th and Lockwood. Both are very nice interior with spectacular views of the Ashley River. The first has also some apartments have a splendid view over the harbor. I have been living in downtown and Mt therefore outside of these enjoyment, I'm afraid I do not have much advice. Still, if I can give you other information about the area I am happy to do.
