What Do you like it? Is it a small school? Party school or no? What are the sleeping rooms and apartments from? Is it a great Christian college? Why I should go to this school? I need to transfer in the next few years, and I do not really know where to do, please help! Thank you!
Hi Kelly, good question. Although I registered with Charleston Southern University a few years ago when I lived in southern Ontario, I have actually never visited. Here are some of the reasons why. I guess if you live in the southern United States, you already familiar with these things, but they were new to me, I had a few dollars and I was looking for to buy a small house, I found a real estate agent to take me around. I was there in late March and the weather was in the 80s F. I went from about 32 degrees F, and two days later I was in the sweltering heat. Then I found out about the alligators in two rivers that converge in Charleston, that to come from the Atlantic Ocean. They may eat small domestic animals, and I had two cats that I wanted to move too. Strangely, they have wooden crawl spaces, and it is a real problem with termites that eat the wood. I found almost everything had to be sprayed for something. Red ants leave little mounds in your front yard. Worst of all, there are flying cockroaches down south. They call them Palmetto bugs. You could eat in a cafe outside and have a great mistake Palmetto Drop in your salad. I freaked when I heard about all this stuff. I really do not know the answer to your question about the university, but all together, I had enough reasons to stay away.
