What was the popular music of the 1920s?
I have a presentation in school to do music from the 1920s. Please give me some names of artists and genres ... Links to helpful websites would be nice =] My teacher told me to look up the Charleston, jazz music, and Gershwin
It was called the Jazz Age for a reason. Although jazz was not the only kind of music very popular. Many of the older generation absolutely hated it. I'm not too familiar with 1920s music, but jazz is reminiscent in the present.
